Hermosa Provincia, Jalisco. Initiation of the spiritual year with the prayer of the Apostle Samuel Joaquin

August 1 of 2007—With a fervent prayer in favor of the Church who would travel to Mexico to take part in the spiritual festivities, the Apostle of Jesus Christ, Samuel Joaquin Flores, initiated the spiritual year for the Church of the Living God, Ground and Pillar of the Truth, The Light of the World

All across the world, millions of brethren gathered for this solemn moment via a live Internet video stream. At 6AM, the church rejoiced at the entrance of the Apostle of the Lord into the temple of Guadalajara. The church had eagerly awaited this moment, as the prayer of the Lord’s Anointed marks not only the beginning of a new spiritual year but also opens the gates of the world for the celebration of the Holy Supper on August 14th.

For just as Moses lifted his hands to the heavens in favor the people of Israel, the Light of the World Church witnessed the Father in Faith, Samuel Joaquin Flores, raise his hands to the heavens to pray for the safe passage of the Spiritual Israel to the beautiful city of Guadalajara where the Holy Supper is held each year.

In his prayer, the Servant of God, Samuel Joaquin Flores said, "As you pray with me, you are praying for the people of God" and extended his desire that "that the peace of the Lord be with [everyone, including those who would not be able to travel to Guadalajara.]"

The brethren of the neighboring cities of Los Angeles joined Samuel Joaquin Flores, Apostle of Jesus Christ, in prayer at their respective temples (East L.A., Huntington Park, Long Beach, Santa Ana, Valinda and West L.A.).

With faith that the prayer of the Servant of God eliminates all barriers, whether material or spiritual, members of the Church set out toward Hermosa Provincia, Guadalajara to partake of the Holy Supper, knowing that the prayer will guide them safely to said city.
