The Apostle of Jesus Christ, Samuel Joaquin Flores arrived in "Hermosa Provincia", where hundreds of thousands of faithful were gathered. Thus the commemoration of the Supper of the Lord had begun.

For the members of this Christian community, the Apostle is the maximum spiritual authority on earth, and for this reason they welcomed him with joy.

Before arriving in the International Headquarters of The Light of the World, he visited the three other places where the Church is gathered: Maestro Aaron Joaquin, Bethel and the "Viña de Jezrel".

In Maestro Aaron Joaquin he stepped into a stadium that has been conditioned to become a sanctuary from the 5th to the 17th of August. There he found 15,000 believers, with great joy, in tears at his sight, waiving their hands to greet him.

Assembled in Bethel were more than 50,000 devotees awaiting to hear his words. Unannounced he entered only minutes after 4:00 p.m. He reminded them of the great favor of having been baptized. As he exited the temple, he stood upon a platform provisioned for him so he could address the multitude gathered outside. Afterward, he walked among the crowd, that from through out the globe, have has come to partake of the Holy Supper.

He arrived at the Viña de Jezreel where more than 20,000 youths hoped for his entrance. He advised them to pursue academic growth, but not to forget to help our society’s needy, and not to think of treasuring material gains. Furthermore, he asked that they have the same courageous spirit of King David.

He arrived, on foot, to Hermosa Provincia, where an ensemble of trumpets announced his arrival, and simultaneously the thundering clamors of the thousands welcomed him into their midst. As he walked the aisle of the largest temple in Latin America, the choirs sang while the congregants glorified the Lord.

The Service prior to the Holy Supper has begun

The House of Prayer is brimming with faithful. The atriums of the temple, the streets around the public square are filled, and the invited are now sitting at the table. The songs of praise resound throughout the suburb, which has become a sanctuary. The Church of the Lord sings a song that reminds everyone of their God-given liberty.

But, why gather? Is it simply for a breadcrumb? Or is it simply for a sip of wine? Of course not! It is, to the Church of the Lord, a day of rejoicing, of happiness and celebration, for we have not been invited by just anyone, but by Christ in His Apostle, beckoning us to the table of the Lord. We will partake of it and regain communion with God. Still, the moment has not arrived.

Shall we tire of the sun, or the heat? Perhaps the rain will defeat us? Never; on the contrary, we will await with respect the arrival of the Apostle of Christ, rejoicing with the songs of the saints, listening to the songs of the choirs, meditating in the Word. Our minds and our hearts will be devoted to this beautiful and solemn festivity.
