Preparations for the Holy Supper Ceremony Begin
With clean hands, consecrated hearts, and a prayer to God asking for dignity in their minds, they begin mixing the ingredients that will become the unleavened bread that offered to the Church by a group of pastors and deacons the day of the ceremony of the Holy Supper. Everyone awaits the moment that the Apostle of Christ shall say in the name of Christ: “This is My body which is broken for you…”
August 13th 2007--Preparations for the Holy Supper have begun with the baking of the unleavened bread, representative of the body of Christ to all those who attend the Holy Convocation in remembrance of the sacrifice carried out by the Son of God in favor of all mankind.
The validity of the bread and what it represents is fomented only during the ceremony through the authorization of the Apostle of God in which the bread is taken by the congregants in representation of the pact spoken by Christ: that the bread would represent His body and communion with God.
If after the sacred act, a single piece remains, it will not hold any value. The Church the Light of the World does not believe in transubstantiation, nor does it accept superstitions or other traditions
.
To begin the task, a group of bakers and authorized personnel made a fervent prayer asking for God’s guidance and blessing. Similarly, the wine is prepared from select grapes and with the same effort and care that the bread is made and the same characteristics of value and importance.
