Farewell to the Saints
The Apostle of Jesus Christ welcomed the delegations from various nations on the 9th of August, and after seven days that passed in the blink of an eye, the time has come to bid farewell. All the faithful had felt so sure and sheltered in the midst of Beautiful Province, but time will not allow them to prolong their stay.
Before the stroke of 11:00 a.m., Brother Samuel Joaquin entered the Pyramidal, alongside him his wife and Pastors. Immediately he began the farewell, sadly “not because I’m losing you, but because I will not be able to see you for an instant.”
“We shall see each other in the land far away.” In an analogy of the hope that is harbored in our hearts, through tears and sobs, all the congregants raised their voice in a spiritual song.
Knowing that “we belong to Him,” the choirs, all together, harmonized in one voice to “please our ear and for the enjoyment of our souls,” as the Apostle of Christ said, songs that bring us to the realization of our adherence.
In an embrace of prayer, a prayer that would commonly be performed bending the knees, the Christian family bid themselves farewell; praying for the Grace of God to accompany them on their return trip. All of them strengthened in the blessing of God, with renewed spiritual vigor, they will return to their homes to give testimony of God’s mercy, of the Church and the Election.
