Samuel Joaquin Flores, Apostle of Jesus-Christ, Inaugurated the new Ophthalmology center at the Siloé Hospital in Guadalajara.
August 6, 2007--The Ophthalmology Center at Siloé General Hospital in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, was inaugurated this past Monday as part of the hospital's ongoing extension of public services since it was inaugurated in 2001. Samuel Joaquin Flores, Apostle of God and International leader of the Light of the World Church, inaugurated the Center accompanied by the Mayor of Guadalajara, Dr. Alfonso Petersen Farah as well as the director of the new institute, Dr. Carmen Romo Huerta.
After a tour of the new facilities, accompanied by brief explanations of the equipment by Dr. Romo, the Apostle Samuel Joaquin Flores congratulated the participants. The Mayor was pleasantly surprised by the modern installations, and conferred his appreciation of the increasing community oriented work of the Church of the Light of the World. For her part, the director of the new institute expressed her admiration of the support and the quality of work carried out by the project's organization team.
The event was faithfully attended by health administration of the municipal and state government as well as distinctive members of the Light of the World Church. The event was broadcasted through various communication mediums.
The project, developed by the Church of the Light of the World, illustrates the possibility of offering health benefits to the surrounding community with the possibility of servicing the entire metropolitan area of Guadalajara.
