Guanajuato has been preservative with paganism and recalcitrant practices against new religious expression, barriers which did not prevent the apostle of Jesus Christ Aaron Joaquin González (like he did it in Guadalajara, Jal., in 1926) to visit. In the fifties, he initiated the work of evangelization in this region having arrived by the highway of San Juan of the Lakes, Jalisco.

His word, found place in the hearts of those with open minds to the shining light of Christ; changing their lives by abandoning false teachers and religiosity based on human arguments. Soon after, due to the sufferings, the stigmatization and the signaling of the strangers, the apostle sent them a letter in which he invited them to leave the city of Leon and come to the city of Guadalajara, where they would enjoy the religious freedom that Leon denied its own native inhabitants.

In that way they spent the years, until about the last years of the seventies when the Spirit of God began to bless the city of Leon; it’s inhabitants began to follow the apostolic education.

The growth of the church was similar to a flame, a small light that began to grow gradually like the light of the aurora. The constitution of a flourishing congregation was due to the sending of ministers and workers, continuous prayers, religious services, fasting and testimonies of the brothers, that in the middle of diverse attacks managed to settle down in the city of Leon. They formed a group of brothers from the Church of the Living God, Column and Support of the Truth, the Light of the World. They were added to those of other guanajuatenses cities.

A sanctuary for God
Time passed, days, weeks, months and years went by, until the morning of the 24th of August of 2008. Before the solar rays appeared in the horizon announcing total clarity of a new day, thousands of brothers from the interior of the state of Guanajuato began to arrive with the purpose of being next to the new sanctuary built in the city of Leon, that would be consecrated by the apostle of Jesus Christ Samuel Joaquin Flores, whom was accompanied by his family and some ministers from Jalisco and Guanajuato.

Hymns and praises were intoned by the choirs of the Beautiful Province and the metropolitan of Guadalajara, their 435 voices were alternatingly united with the choir of the state of Guanajuato, which the assistants respectfully listened to, most of them with white colored clothes .

Extending over one hundred meters from the temple was the human barrier ready to receive the apostle of the Lord. The arrival of the delegation of Manuel Doblado was observed whom before arriving had technical problems with his car. It was necessary for him to wait in the rain for another car of the same company, thus arriving that morning to the temple about fifteen minutes to ten.

On the other hand, the automobile that transferred the apostle of Jesus Christ through the city of Leon, encountered several allusive great banners to give him a great welcome, the largest banners were placed on the Hilario Medina avenue and Vicente Valtierra boulevard where temple is located, in a commercial nest, with automotive companies and diverse services.

Before the glance of tens of visitors, listeners and supporters, brothers and sisters showed indescribable emotion welcoming the apostle, some carrying white handkerchiefs and others palms, glorifying God and wishing spiritual gifts.

When arriving at the main vestibule of the temple, young people carrying flags of the world, in which the church is present, and the flag of the church flocked their entrance. Before revealing the plate, the apostle spoke words in which he valued the effort of men and women whose effort in some cases was noticeable because of their economic situation, having to extend their labor schedule, or which by love to the work of God they detached from personal goods, but that had done it for the glory of God.

After reading the commemorative plaque, he cut the strip and it opened the fore door, and invited the assistants to enter to the interior of the sanctuary. Meanwhile that the united choirs intoned the praise: “Angel of God”, to slow cadence he walked in the central corridor blessing the columns, pews, adornments… before half of the corridor he stopped and turning to those entering behind him he raised his hands distributing his blessing.

He continued, and upon arriving at the altar he stopped for a moment and observed the main hall and the mezzanine, then once again he distributed he blessings by turning to do right thing with the baptismal basin. He stopped at the steps in the altar to bless the ministerial area.

With a fixed glance, in the solemn moment, before the great multitude which had jammed tight all the interior of the temple and its vestibules, he blessed the place. When he arrived at the main altar, the voices of praise to God rose in great intensity when the brothers of the city of Leon considered their efforts crowned by the blessing of the presence of the ambassador of Christ.

Guanajuato gives the welcome to the Apostle
In order to give a formal welcoming to the apostle of Jesus Christ, the Pastor Gilberto Garcia Granados in name of all the church and the ministerial body of Guanajuato, gave him the warmest welcome. He took for example the Biblical passage in which the apostle Peter tells Christ he is the Son of the living God, and Christ repays him with blessing and fortune; likewise the church felt fortunate in the presence of the apostle. It invited to the church to a prayer of thanksgiving and later all the church intoned a welcome praise.

Apostolic dedication of the Temple
Making use of his voice, the apostle expressed the desire of God that motivated him to preside over the dedication ceremony and with tears did not cease to give the glory to God for the health that he allowed him. He retook of each one of them, their sleeplessness, days of physical work, devotion, love and affection that they had to build the house to the glory of God, the reason for overcoming obstacles and vicissitudes that he did not ignore, the ridicules and the exclusion that the other people's did of them, but that in the end the faith that comes from God prevailed.

Elevating his hands, the Ambassador of Jesus Christ presented those sacrifices and offering before God so that the power of God would be pronounced in his church and his ministers vested with justice; so that when the sorry sinner arrives at this sanctuary God will listen and act with divine mercy; and when the afflicted one cries out God will attend to him, all this because of the love of his holy Election.

After concluding the apostolic prayer in dedication of the temple, the invited choirs intoned the praise: “Certainly house of God” under the direction of the Prof. Job Ruiz Pichinte, seconded with the shouts of jubilee and joy from the parishioners in the interior; in the vestibules; in the frontal boulevard that was closed off; and in lateral streets.

The apostolic voice emphasized the third stance: “So that only his Name is elevated” praising the work of the unique and true God.

Origin of the Christian faith
The apostolic word was centered in a brief doctrinal historical exhibition in which the authenticated originality of Christianity was recognized. Declaring that those that corrupted the gospel replaced it, by making inanimate Gods of solid materials or in paintings and they exclaim unto them until the present time: “ you are my god”.

He declared: “ Every day that pases, we contemplate the greatness of God! ”, which although the industrialists, bankers, or intellects do not interest themselfs to go deep into their religious roots, the reason why, is because its comfortable or bearable to fold to the dominant religion as its occurred since the first century, following the dissertation of the Greek philosophers, and that before Christ some had already alienated themselves. And, the few that investigated the origins of Christianity were persecuted for being against to the dogmas, section from the originality of the genuine gospel taught and practiced by the apostles.

For this cause , he found an equality, and not a similarity between the primitive church and the church of Leon. Since the one that had done by Peter, also has worked by Aaron and Samuel, because God is spirit, Rejoice and enjoy in the calling of God! he exclaimed.

Call and vocation
He admonished everyone to analyze one’s self in the calling and vocation (1 Co 1. 26), there is deficiency in the material things, but wealth in the spiritual things. He referred to the advice of the prophet Jeremiah with the idolatrous paganism of Babylonia to distinguish apart the “Gods” of the people from the Eternal, Invincible single Holy God. And he again invited to praise God “Glorify God with me!”

He recalled a portion of a hymn “I was a prisoner sunk in the abyss… and when Christ heard my groans … and He said this soul is mine” for which he emphasized: That beautiful is our faith, belief and advice

The one that it lives as a stranger to God says: “The one that does not know God, to any wood kneels” Sir: I know you! You are here, you live in my heart! This is the bliss and happiness!

From which Christ we come?
Although this region full of spiritual subtlety worried him, God has allowed several churches to exist in it (1 Timothy 3,15). Allbeit people exist who call themselfs important and educated, that perhaps due to their social situations they mix themselves among them to be just as they, or perhaps for conveniences of enterprise businesses. Demanding to reflect: From which Christ we come? We are of the one who sustained the martyr Esteban who proclaimed to him, the one of the apostle James who was dead because of the gospel. How beautiful is our way!

They, (the strangers to God) do not want to be deceived or scorned. But, yes a painter takes a prostitute woman and after being enjoying with her in lust and sexual pleasures, he painted a portrate of her and now in Italy she is adored. How can they be intelligent?

But, in the case of the apostle Jacob who king Herold killed with a sword, did the towns people disliked it? NO (Acts 12. 1-3). Oh, the case of the apostle Peter who was freed from death by the angel of the Lord.

From there the importance of the gospel’s origin. The example of the apostle Paul, who proclaimed that Galilean unknown by the world well-known. Who knew him? God! The Angeles proclaimed him? Yes; and The prophets announced him? Yes. In a life of simplicity in a great large city exposing the call of God, caused him ridicules and in his proclamation, scorn to him (Jn 12. 38). And raising the figure of the humiliated Christ and crucified, blessed his grace to be in Him.

For that reason the apostle Paul exposes the pursuit of the teachings of the Lord (2a. Co 11. 23-28) and which on him was crowded the request of all the churches and in the work of that calling and mission were about to finalized with joy to have kept the precious faith of Christ (2nd. Tim 4. 7-8)

Commitment of faith
Convocó a realizar una ofrenda viva y actuante como la de los apóstoles de Jesucristo. Ejemplifico al apóstol Aarón en su trabajo en la idolatrica ciudad de Guadalajara, Jalisco en el occidente de México cuyo oscurantismo religioso humillante y provocador no le inmutó, aún en el momento de su partida física tenia el cuidado del pastor que entrega su vida por las ovejas: “¡Cuiden al pueblo del Señor de los lobos rapaces!” Encomienda igual que la del apóstol Pablo.

He summoned to make a living and operating offering like the one of the apostles of Jesus Christ. He enunciated that the day of lament should not arrive in which he is informed that they destroyed the temple - not the material, but the spiritual one. He summoned to them to the real sanctity, not the one which a man in Rome proclaimes. Reason why he ratified: We are holy, because Christ has sanctified to us!

That his presence was an incentive to all that freely and individually committed in those darkened regions of fanaticism to proclaim the Gospel of the will of Christ. Having the education of the wise apostles, theologians, fishermen and without knowledge intellectual land.

Knowledgeable that there was already many stakes to be able to resist the rope which extends the spiritual cover. And putting the example, he announced that personally he has collaborated with support in this territory in the city of Silao, where God should allow the rising of a mega monument to the faith of simple and humble people, but triumphant.

That the material house had been finished. But, to the spiritual house it also needs many stones and many workers whom with the mixture of cement of love and faith, all the estate fills.

He entrusted each one of the believers to be bastions of the truth in all this pseudo religious region, making the commitment to extend the kingdom of God by the persuasion of the word of God in the hearts of those that are to arrive to knowledge of the truth and the Eternal God

Before concluding his explanation, he suplicated the prayer of the church in general, in favor of his person in order to continue with the mission and charge that God has given him.

Intoning the hymn number 427 “I want to follow the footsteps of the Teacher” (of the hymn book of the church) he acted in thanksgiving and dismissed himself distributing his blessing. The choirs intoned some praises referring to the solemn consecration of the new and functional sanctuary.

At one p.m. with twenty-five minutes the apostle Samuel Joaquin went to a gathering offered by the church to him and his distinguished visitors and guests in the dining room, and the choir of Guadalajara brightening the moment with some melodías at mid voice .

Financial resources: Administered by the Commission Pro Construction of the temple, chosen by the local church in coordination with the minister.
Land: The first land was purchased in 1988, later lateral lands were acquired, to conform an area of approximately four thousand square meters.
Designer: T.D. Luis Enrique Vázquez, of Leon, Gto., was the sketcher of the project.
Structural Calculation: Ing. Alexander González Angulo, of Guadalajara, Jal., ( no honorarium was collected for his work).
Construction foreman: Ing. Abner Valencia Moreno, teacher who directed the work.
Capacity of the temple: 1700 people comfortably (main hall, mezzanine and basement No 1).

Stain glass: Allusive to different events from the Restoration of the Church.
Symbol: The branch of Aaron, crowns the construction of the temple.
